A Precor Icarian Seated Tricep Extension is, and can best be described as follows: A Triceps Extension is a plate-loaded or selectorized piece of fitness equipment designed to work the Triceps Brachii muscles of the upper arm during Strength Training. A Triceps Extension is available in an overhead variation where the user is seated, grasping handles behind the neck, and lifts the weight by fully extending the arms overhead; or in a frontal variation, where the user is seated with arms bent 90 degrees in front of the face, resting on pads and grasping handles, and lifts the weight by pushing down and fully extending the arms.
