What is user activated ammonia!?
Zone created smelling salts that you could travel with anywhere in the world, have an extended storage life, and could be activated at any time. All you need to do is add one cap full of water and shake well.
What does that do?
The water interacts with the ammonia initiating the chemical reaction .
The result:
A strong hit of ammonia gas!
Shelf Life: Around 6 months
. Once initially opened the lifespan of smelling salts can last anywhere from
1-6 months depending how many times they get used/opened.
The more often fresh oxygen is reintroduced into the bottle the faster it’ll dry out and lose potency.
How to prolong the life out of my Zone Elite?
Make sure
the seal is intact at the top of the lid (Loose or cracked seals will cause the bottle to leak and kill the bottle quickly)
Make sure the lid is on TIGHT after each use
Shake before each use
and hit the bottom of the bottle
(to get everything to the bottom of the bottle.)
You DO NOT have to completely remove the lid -
Cracking the top can hit just as strong
Always remember to keep the bottle a full arm's length away from your face!!!
For the biggest hit: Wait 5-10 seconds after shaking to crack the bottle.
Only add water ONCE when you want are ready to activate the bottle.
DO NOT REPEATEDLY ADD WATER.

Zone Smelling Salts' blend of compounds produces a small amount of ammonia gas
used to arouse consciousness
. The use of smelling salts activates the membranes of the nose and lungs and triggers an inhalation reflex. This results in respiratory flow and alertness. Pure ammonia gas is toxic and hazardous to health in copious quantities.

Back in the day, smelling salts would show up and die within a week or would leak and make a complete mess. This is exactly why Liam created
inactive smelling salts; Zone Regular and Zone Elite.
After that he developed a way to activate the salts
without the use of water
hence our
“Dry Activated”
Smelling Salt series.
Through this method,
Zone Dry and Elite Dry were created. From there the Zone collection has grown tremendously.
Liam's intentions have always been to provide high-quality smelling salts to athletes around the globe.

WHAT SETS US APART
Unfortunately, over the past couple of years, there has been a race to create unnecessarily powerful smelling salts that end up being detrimental to athletic performance.
There is a difference between the quality and the strength of smelling salts. Yes, our smelling salts are strong, really freaking strong, but we have taken careful consideration to make sure you can still perform athletically after ripping some Zone.
And when used properly our bottles should hit hard for months, not weeks.
To sum this all up, there are a lot of gimmicks out there that will blow your head off but will leave you unable to lift while you lay there, eyes watering in a fetal position.
Yes, we make strong ammonia salts, but we only use pure high-quality ammonia. Our goal was and remains to create smelling salts ideal for lifting and performance.
